Aside from his personality, he excessively micromanages people to the point of putting every single employee in one room in front of his office to watch them when all the other rooms in the building remained empty. He’s selfish, unkind, and bases everything by assumption without having an open mind that he might be wrong. Fits of rage are normal, like when he rampaged the entire office and touched employees personal belongings by throwing and breaking them. It probably makes it easier for him to fire entire departments because he was having a bad day. He avoids talking to anyone who isn’t upper management because he doesn’t want to get to know his employees. The owner: He does not treat his employees well and his moods change in an instant. You are ignored to the point of people becoming mentally ill, myself included. They will make no accommodations or efforts when concerns are expressed.
The better you do, the worse you are treated. Having experience as a basic employee (not a manager) is actually a negative thing at this company because they feel threatened by it. They are power hungry and make you feel belittled due to their own insecurities. It was very obvious based on their attention to detail, quality of work, and their reactions and responses to their employees. It only took me 2 weeks after I was hired to figure out that the company was run by people with very little management experience. I walked on eggshells the entire time I worked here. Upper Management: I have a lot to say about this topic because it was the part that negatively affected me the most. My goal here is to prevent another person from experiencing what I did working here. What you will read below is based on true experiences at my time working for this company.
